“What is Yin? What is Yang?
Yin and Yang are terms that come from the Chinese tradition. They describe two fundamental principles, which we can find everywhere in the world, when we pay attention to them. These principles will receive an upgrade in this day and age, and anybody who wishes to move past the old inner and outer conflicts is invited to access these pure and untainted qualities again. But first let’s take a look at the basic ideas of Yin and Yang:

Yin
Yin is the receiving principle. Yin is cool, open, dark and receptive. Yin is winter, the moon, night, the subconscious. Yin is the wisdom that lies beyond superficial appearances. It is traditionally associated with the female gender.

Yang
Yang is the expanding principle, the quality of action and direction. Yang is hot, full of purpose, light and power. Yang is summer, the sun, day, the conscious mind. It is traditionally associated with the male gender.
Only when Yin and Yang enrich each other, only when they dance together and stop fighting for dominance, can life be beautiful and fulfilling!

Nobody is just Yin or just Yang! Women also have a Yang quality. Men also have a Yin quality. The first step to personal fulfillment, therefore, is to understand and integrate Yin and Yang within your Self! ….”
